Welcome to Delano Elementary School, a distinguished K-3 school serving around 700 students. Our dedicated staff provide a positive, caring, and nurturing environment, instilling the "Tiger Way" to foster social-emotional, citizenship, and academic skills. Delano Elementary School is a vibrant community that values family involvement and open communication between staff, families, and students. Delano Elementary is located approximately 27 miles west of the Twin Cities. We are a K-3 Elementary School, serving approximately 700 students. Our Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment scores consistently rank among the highest in the state, reflecting the outstanding academic achievement of the students at Delano Elementary.

Delano Elementary provides a positive, caring, and exciting place where all children are challenged to succeed at their highest level. Our dedicated and skilled Delano Elementary School staff is committed to delivering a high quality educational program in a well-organized and caring environment. Delano Elementary is very fortunate to have dedicated parent volunteers. Our staff, students, and parents work together to create partnerships which are essential for learning. The results of this partnership include better attendance, improved behavior, a higher quality of education, and a safe learning environment.
